One Up On Wall Streetby Peter LynchNext to Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch is probably the most well known and successful investor in the world. There is a reason Peter Lynch was so successful managing Magellen at Fidelity Investments. Peter Lynch understands investments. He is a solid fundamental investor who evaluates the company and does not worry about market timing, hedging his investments with options, or any other such foolishness. The book discusses investing in growth stocks and turnaround companies. Lynch is a master of both, and he gives you many short quips that will help you invest more like Lynch. This book does not go into financial analytic detail showing you all the aspects of financial statement analysis, but there is enough here to make this book essential reading for all serious investors. One Up On Wall Street is well written and fun to read. It is much better than Lynch's other book, Beating The Street. ![]()
